Exports from Missouri to other countries, third quarter, year to date, 2022 to 2023, rose 10.2%, totaling over $13.3 Billion. Over half of all Missouri’s export income came from the top three recipients in 2023. Canada purchased just over $4.9 billion in goods, followed by Mexico ($2.8 billion), and Germany ($593 million).
India had the largest percentage increase in exports from Q3 year to date 2022 to 2023 of 59%, followed by Netherlands (48%) and Japan (25%).
Increases in Missouri exports to India included Coal and Petroleum Gases, and Basic Chemicals and Waste and Scrap. Missouri exports to Netherlands were led by Pharmaceuticals And Medicines, Coal and Petroleum Gases and Basic Chemicals. Japan exports increases were led by Meat Products and Meat Packaging Products, Pharmaceuticals and Medicines, and Aerospace Products and Parts.
Missouri exports to North America were over half of all exports, followed by Europe and Asia.
