Over half of all Missouri’s export income came from the top three recipients in 2020. Canada purchased $4.45 billion in goods, followed by Mexico ($2.17 billion), and China ($680 million).
The Netherlands had the largest percentage increase in exports from 2019 to 2020 of 18% followed by Brazil (17%), Australia (14%), China (14%) and Germany (13%).
Increases in Missouri exports to the Netherlands included Pharmaceuticals and Medicine, Medical Equipment and Supplies and Semiconductors and Other Electronic Equipment. Missouri exports to the Brazil were led by Basic Chemicals, Electrical Equipment and Components and Pharmaceuticals and Medicine.
Missouri exports to North America were over half of all exports, followed by Asia and Europe.
