GDP by State, 2nd Quarter 2026
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a comprehensive measure of the economy, estimating the value of the goods and services produced in each state. Real GDP increased in 44 states and the District of Columbia in the second quarter of 2026, with annualized percent changes ranging from 4.0 percent in New York to -2.3 percent in West Virginia. Missouri’s GDP increased by 1.9 percent.
September Online Job Postings
Job postings provide a current look at employer demand for talent across the state. During September 2026, there were 75,490 online job postings in Missouri. The Health Care and Social Assistance industry had the most online job postings statewide and in seven of the nine regions during the month.
